I’m a bit of a neat freak when I’m working on my stuff. Frankly, I just can’t stand working on dirty parts or dirty cars or in a dirty shop… It makes me clumsy and messy which in turns makes every thing all the more dirty. It’s a viscous cycle that makes my head hurt contemplating.
So, with all of that in mind – I spend a ton on red shop towels. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to spend less and be more efficient with my cleaning supplies and one of the ways I’ve been able to do that is through the use of those HD blue paper towels. Typically, you can find them at Autozone, Home Depot, Lowes, etc… They look like a standard roll of kitchen paper towels, but they are blue (obviously) and about 10 times more durable than a regular paper towel. Not as good as a red shop towel, but doable for sure…
In any case, I was looking for a way to store these rolls when I came across a pretty trick setup from Griots. It’s a 2-piece magnetic mount that allows you to mount your towel rolls (any size) to your tool box. There are way cheaper options at WalMart, but I’ve always appreciated the quality of most of Griots stuff and thought I would give this a shot. I’m glad I did.
