Vintage Ford

Man, did a buddy of mine find the mother load… I realize this isn’t entirely on topic, but you gotta be dead if you don’t enjoy this. Essentially, it’s a an album over 100 vintage photographs taken of vintage Ford buildings – dealerships, shops, etc… GOLDEN.

Check it out.

Thread ID

You guys are probably sick of hearing me sing the praises of Lee Valley (They aren’t paying me – I swear it!), but his bounced up and I can’t help myself. How many times have you had a piece of hardware that you can’t quite identify?

“Is it a 1/4-28 or a 1/4-20?”

“It looks like a fine thread… I think…”

If you don’t work in the shop every single day and surround yourself with hardware, sometimes it really is a guessing game. No more fellas. I’ve always wanted one of these.

Kustom Toolbox

A member on our sister site, jalopyjournal.com, recently finished up a restoration of his vintage Snap On box. Rather than going back with straight factory red, he decided to get creative – Viper red, flake, and lots of clear.

Check it out.
