Magnetic LED Light

The folks that make this thing sent me an email today and I figured I would float it out there. Essentially, it’s a wide-angle LED mounted in a golf ball sized sphere with magnets attached in various spots that allow you to point the LED. The idea seems pretty feasible, but this is definitely something where execution is the driver… Meaning, if this is a quality product then it’s uses could be infinite and if it’s not, well… more junk in the drawer. Anyone have one that can report back? Admittedly, I’m curious.

Portable Wooden CNC Machine

How’s this for creative? Dude wanted his own CNC machine to toy with, but couldn’t afford it. The answer? Build your own… Out of wood! The end result is a CNC machine with an open base (great for odd and large sized objects) that is completely collapsible. The idea sounds shaky at best, but reports are that it works great.
