Man… Has this been a long time coming or what? Well, we are finally ready to take pre-orders for our brand spanking new Garage Journal T-shirt. The plan is to take orders for about two weeks, then print the shirts, and then finally ship them. I don’t really dig on a pre-order system like this, but we didn’t have much of a choice for a number of logistical reasons.

I think we have featured Jack’s shop before here on The Garage Journal. To put it simply, it’s one of my favorite spaces to ever grace the pages of this site… It’s just so damned smart. Only a guy that really understands “work process” could create such a functional space with such amazing texture. It’s perfect.

Hey, how about some more vintage imagery of old garages from around the country? I can never get enough.

My current drill bit set was bought at Sears about 5 years ago. It’s had it… For the post part, I’ve used this set in the shop on various steel and, of course, on regular “house projects” on soft stuff like wood. I’ve lost some bits, burned some, broken some, etc… It’s time for a new set and I was curious what you guys are using for your general drill bit set. I’d like to find something substantial in size (number of bits) and will last me for another five years.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
