I look at security kind of like a defensive coordinator would look at attacking the New England Patriots’ offense. It sounds a bit silly, but I actually learned the ideology from a good friend of mine that is a detective in a pretty bad city. If it works for him, it should be good enough for me – right?
I love old stuff, but when it comes to work and efficiency I don’t hesitate to go modern. In fact, as I write this, I’m sitting in a legendary .com era Herman Miller Aeron chair. So, you might be surprised to find that I don’t own a shop stool made after 1950.
The DualSaw seems to be an “As Seen On TV” gimmick. Hell, even Billy Mayes promoted the product before he passed. Even so, there have been a lot of whispers going around the tool world about its effectiveness lately. I’m not sure I buy it… In fact, I know I wouldn’t as we all know the typical Chinese quality behind gimmicks. Even so, it’s news. So, here ya go.

I’ve been so damned busy on my own build lately that I haven’t had time to check out the Garage Gallery forum. I took some time out today to do so and boy, am I glad I did! “Jbs” has been busy building a classic barn to use as a shop and progress has been brisk and entertaining.
