The Gas Station Attendant

This is pretty rad… Steve Johnson is a forum member and a sponsor. He runs Garageart.com and happens to be heavy into nostalgic gas and oil stuff. Recently he got the idea to reproduce the old station attendant oil can stands. They are done and ready to go and are available in just about any brand you can imagine. Check it out:

OKC Garage

I was browsing the Hillerman Collection, an archive of vintage photography from around the Oklahoma City area, and stumbled across this shot of an incredible garage. It makes me wonder if folks took such character for granted back in the day… I sure don’t now. Gorgeous.

Lamborghini Factory

A few years ago, we did a feature on the Ferrari factory… In fairness, we thought we should hit up the Lambo factory as well. The ideas that can be gathered for our own man spaces are admittedly limited, but the inspiration sure isn’t.

Check out this Gallery that MotorTrend ran way back in 2003.

Heritage Barns

I’ve talked a ton about my love for old barns in the past. There’s just something about a structure that comes with it’s own history and soul. They speak to me… Anyway, recently I was cruising the internet while researching for another project and came across a company based out of Waco, Tx that specializes in relocating and restoring old barns. Their work is simply phenomenal.

The barn pictured above was originally constructed in 1810 in Long Valley, New Jersey. It now stands somewhere in East Texas… and it’s hard to beat, isn’t it?

You can check out all of Heritage’s work here. Simply glorious….

Another Tool Box Restoration

A while back we featured a fella that restored toolboxes and posted his progress photos on Flickr. Well, he’s done with his latest and it is nothing short of gorgeous. We want one… badly… Take one vintage Brit Box, spend a few (ok, a ton) hours restoring it, and if you are any good you end up with the above.

You can see his progress photos here.
