I'm in the market for two specific items: an upholstery staple gun, and a set of hog ring pliers. Any good leads on some quality stuff? I did some reading up and BEA model 71/16-421 was mentioned once. I'd like to find something easier to get (like at a big box store around my area). Is there a pneumatic stapler that I could get around here, like a Bostitch?
Also, I need some hog ring pliers and hog rings. Any good ideas?
Thanks!

I worked at a shop that doubled as a Upholstery shop. That BeA stapler is the industry standard. I would think a bostich would work, just make sure you get the right staples (correct length) Hog ring pliers, the little of it I did I found the bent ones are alot easier to get into most places. I mostly used a air powered hog ring gun.
This is who we dealt with. Link (http://www.floydtool.com/upholstery_stapler.htm) A company you could goggle is Miami Rubber and Tri River Supply, they deal in nothing but upholstery tools, fabric, glue, ect.
