The thread about tool carts got me to thinking about carts dedicated to detailing tools and supplies. Right now, I have to go to three different parts of the garage to get everything together to wash and wax one of our vehicles. I want everything in one cart that I can roll around the garage or driveway as I work. I'm thinking that I'll start with a standard rolling cart of some sort and modify it from there.
So, what do you have? How did or would you make it better? And of course we need pics.
Thanks.

I think you might be better off safety wise to have two.One wet and one dry.One for washing with a side mounted bucket and maybe a hose reel mounted reverse. So you have 10-15 ft of hose from the cart with your nozzle and a reel to keep the rest neat from the faucet to the cart.Probably want a wire mesh shelf for drainage and maybe a towel rack or a wringer if you can find one.
Cart 2 would have a GFCI power strip maybe a small shop vac and a hand tote to keep detail stuff where you can set it in the seat next to where you're working. The Top could hold a buffer/polisher and the outside detail Items like wax.You would want a towel rack and a paper towel holder also.
I had never thought of it until i saw this post so I'm just throwing ideas out there.

Those are some of the ideas I had in mind except I would need to condense it into one cart since I don't have a lot of room. I'm worrying about carrying a shop vac with the cart since I already have a big Ridgid that has all of the accessories stored on board.

I've seen that cart in the catalog before. My thought is to use something like that as a starting point and modify it to be more efficient and hold more stuff.

Here's a nice one from Rubbermaid.

Don't forget to check Craigslist for nice used carts whatever you decide to do.
