I was wondering if anyone has a custom made tool box? Ive been looking around for tool box options and ran across a steel company making custom tools boxes. Seems like it might be a neat alternative to buying from one of the big brands.

Disclaimer: I'm in no way connected to the company listed. I haven't been here too long, so I don't know the rules about linking to different sites. Some of the motorcycle sites I go to get real butt hurt if you post something that competes with the site sponsors.

What would be cool with these custom boxes would be if they cranked out novel designs.

I would think they can make just about what ever you can dream up. Then again, I've never called and asked.
BMW: I saw that thread when I first started lurking here. Those are pretty impressive.

I totally love my toolbox, I had made with the drawer heights I wanted and I had a 7'8" long 1/4" steel top made for it (7'8" to fit exactly where I wanted it).
I would do it again if I could afford it but it really was a one time purchase for me, I figure this tool box will still be in the family hundreds of years from now :)

not sure...HEAVY but not sure, they were doing a show in L.A. and they asked if they could use my box as a display, in exchange they would deliver it to my house on their way up, so I got free shipping and delivery and as a result never had to lift it. They had a lift-gate and 3 guys to move it for me. I do know its heavy but it rolls very easily on rather high quality casters.
