Does anyone have experience with this merchant on ebay? I ordered a 3/8" nitrocat from them simply because the normal places I order from such as tooltopia, toolwarehouse, etc don't carry this item. Ordered & paid for it on 8-29-07 never recieved a tracking #, contacted them via ebay site on 9-6-07 & requested one. Revieved a reply on 9-7-07 stating that they would check on it & send me one which never happened. Sent a followup message via ebay yesterday with a second request for a tracking # with no reply. Sent a reply to their 'we'll check on it' e-mail this morning at 9 am california time and have not heard anything back yet. What is it about california vendors, this is the same thing I had happen with toolgopher, you just wait & wait & wait some more for something, you recieve no tracking # & they ignore & blow off multiple requests for one. I want to get a phone # so that I can call them up & ask a real live person but have not been able to find one for this company anywhere. Just prior to ordering this on ebay I checked 6 different stores I have ordered from in the past but noone had them so I went to fleabay, starting to regret that decision. According to their stats they are 99.4% positive so I thought I was safe from this kind of crap.

They are stringing you out because (1) they are trying to screw you by having you wait too long to file a complaint on eBay/Paypal or (2) they are stringing you out because they do not have the item in stock and/or their supplier is doesn't have the item in stock or (3) they just suck.

I know several people on here have ordered a nitrocat from them without any problems. I'm guessing it's a stock issue since not many, if any, other sellers have these for sale.

I would research your limitations on filing for a refund via eBay/Paypal. If you want to wait until right before those limits are met, go for it. If you want to file a complaint now, do that instead.

I usually give the seller extra time to resolve such stock issues for unique products. Whatever you do, don't wait beyond your complaint time limits... I've been burned before by being the "nice guy".... won't do it again no matter how much BS they give me.

If it is a stock problem or whatever I can understand, what ticks me off is when they blow me off & keep me in the dark with no shipping #, date of expected shipment, explaination of what the delay is, etc. Other than this & toolgopher, everything I have ordered online has either come in a timely manner or the vendor has communicated that they can't get it. Just got an email from them saying that they think it has shipped but are having trouble locating the tracking # so guess I'll spend another day wondering if the UPS truck is going to come:(

Went to paypal and opened a dispute last night 9-13-07 after not recieving either a tracking # or the package since if it isn't here by 5:30 PM it isn't coming. Within an hour of opening the dispute I had an e-mail with a tracking #. According to the UPS website it was shipped yesterday 9-13-07 & should be here 9-19-07.

I'm glad you got your tracking number, but you'll never convince me PayPal had anything to do with it.

It got here today 9-19-07. It is the newer style with the Q looking selector.
