Saw one late last night on "Unique Whips" (I do NOT recommend the show). Entire floor was a black epoxy. Looked nice. You sure wouldn't see stains as much on the floor.
Couple quick (probably too quick) shot of the floor in this promo:

I voted no...but I think it depends on the application. If for a working shop no, but I do think it would look good in a "show" garage...so my vote is "It depends.."

No. Dust would be a huge problem. Either on the bottom of your shoes, or just settling out of the air. It would look cool, but only if you could keep it spotless all the time....

And the lighter the floor and walls, the better the illumination will be. Light/white surfaces really help get the most out of whatever lighting you have. Working under a car would probably feel like working in a cave with a black floor.

It's hard enough to find bolts and other small stuff I drop on my light colored floor. I imagine a black floor would just swallow things on a regular basis.

I voted yes. If it's what you like, do it! My thinking...
It would be different.
Not much darker than shop floors I've seen covered in old wood blocks, or where the concrete has been sealed with wax.
If I'm working on a car, I'm taking lights under there with me anyway.
If I drop a bolt, there's a 50/50 chance it might be silver, and EASIER to spot on the floor! :-)

I dont recomend the show either, however I did watch it this week and saw the black floor, it looked ok to me. I have a light grey u-coat-it floor and its great, cleans up easily, I wouldnt be afraid of the black in any kind of shop, might show things when your working but it will clean right up when your done. I just use water and a rag mop it takes about 10 mins to do my 28 x32 floor, looks like new when I'm done. my floor has alot more shine than the one in the show, I think it would awsome in a dark color I almost went with the dark red that u-coat-it has but chose the light grey for brightness in the shop, however it looked like the black in the show refected alot of light.....go for it, and send pics!
