Working outside and just as you start breaking a sweat along comes some gnat or fly, so I am getting one of those electric fly swatters. I can't imagine what might be much nicer than zapping some annoying gnat.

I bought one of those electric fly swatters from www.surpluscomputers.com .. dead on arrival and the cheap ass company does not answer email ... :(

I have one of those and expected it to do diddly shit. It -on one set of batteries - has killed in house pests for almost two years (and took care of a bunch of yellowjackets at a picnic two summers ago). I really like it because it is MUCH more sanitary than a traditional flyswatter.

I love the HF ugly yellow electric fly swatter. Mosquitoes land on my ceiling at night. You can see the buggers there, but if you swat them they make a really bad mess.

Hold the electric near them and they fly off, into it.
They make a great snapping sound and they are toast.

Also works great when they sit on the screen of my projection TV in the bedroom. Hold the zapper near it and they commit suicide by flying right into it.
Cool toy.
