Just saw a commercial on Speed TV for the Socket-Lock-It and went to the web site to check them out. http://www.socketlockit.com No prices on the web site but the commercial said two for $29. Pretty cool design but would cost a fortune to have one for all the sockets in my drawers. Anone have or seen these?

Looks pretty good and for $29.95 for two, it's not going to break the bank; not sure I want plastic though ...

LOL... I didn't think about that until you mentioned it but that does look like a concern. I don't care for socket strips personally. I'll stick with my Hansens.

Ck ed the site out and watched their little movie. For what you are getting, lockable/mobile/magnetic socket retaining strip , price was in the ball park at $30. Looks like a good idea for that small box or when some of your sockets have to go traveling with you.....H

Doesn't Stanley have a product that does pretty much the same thing?

Searching all I found were these, http://www.gemplers.com/product/125870/1-4-Magnetic-Twist-and-Lock-Socket-Organizer

Sears have these same ones; I bought a 1/2" and 3/8" set, didn't like it and now it sits on the shelf in the garage ...

To all whom have commented:
No store has these on their shelf as we are new to the market that is why we are advertising on the Speed channel. As to the durability there isn't a problem unless excess force is used to remove a socket & it's obvious there is a stop when turning (we do have a warranty). The ones some of you have seen in stores are @ $20.00 each & you turn to lock on & turn to remove were as ours are push on & turn to remove & we have several storage options. Any questions feel free to contact me.

I like the magnetic backing. Much less wasteful of space than the Hansens, too.

Now, if they didn't have a handle on one end, a hanger on the other and pre-marked sizes, I might be interested.

Craftsman Socket-Loc'R: $6.99

Roll of magnetic tape from McMaster: $0.30 per ft

Edited to add: Not the same product as the one in discussion, but they do provide a similarly all orientation hold on the sockets, without having the handle etc.

I edited, lest anyone think I'm suggesting your product is identical. It also looks a great idea, but I, too, favour a smaller rack*. Do you/will you offer the same clips on a more traditionally shaped socket rail ?

*in some circumstances

I suppose I could remove the size markings with some acetone and a rag.

I currently use the metal clip rails, which are admittedly a PITA. They don't stay still unless I rivet them to the box/drawer, but they are compact! :pimpflash
