Doesn't Snap On make a hand cleaner? It would have to be the best. And no way I'm using any Harbor Freight hand cleaner! Craftsman hand cleaner used to be good, but it's gone downhill the last few years.

Being a ASE master auto tech and having worked in a glass factory for 7 years, I have come across many different hand cleaners. Here is a few I have had personal experience with:
Strap on sells a hand cleaner, $87.85 for 4, 1 gallon jugs. It's just permatex fast orange, found just about anywhere for $13.99 a gal. Works ok, tends to dry out your hands. Stay away from the cheap permatex cream found at autozone, has a perfumy stink to it that lingers even after you scrub with something else.
Never heard of a craftsman branded hand cleaner, although sears does sell the commonly found gojo natural orange brand that works good, but can dry out your hands if not rinsed off well enough.
Goop brand found just about anywhere from harbor freight to wal mart. Very cheap. The harder to find (at least where I've been) orange goop smells good and works better than the more common cream-type that works good too. Doesn't dry out hands.
Car Quest hand cleaner works quite well. Tends to leave hands a little slippery till you can dry off. Won't dry out hands.
Zep cherry bomb, has to be ordered though zep, works very well, smells the best of any hand cleaner I've ever used, smells almost edible.
Red Bear hand cleaner works very well. Although very hard to find.
Lava pro, works very well. Not easy to find.
Citrogel hand cleaner works rather well. Citrus smell.
Stoko cupran special works phenomenally well, not common. Uses walnut shell scrubbers not pumice. Will take tar off your hands. Most expensive. About $25 for 1/2 gal.
(Stoko blueforce works good as well.)

Mean Green Hand Scrub is the best hand cleaner you can buy. It will remove anything... dirt, grease grime, paint, printers ink or anything else that you get on your hands, period.
Well here we go again.....Okay, try Boraxo powdered hand soap. Get's em clean, has grit, but does not dry your hands out like the Orange stuff. I use Boraxo probably a dozen times or more daily during the weeks and it has never dried my hands or let my hands crack around the fingernails

I'll match the deal... free sample of SoapFX to those that send me a PM.
We have numerous race teams and repair shops using SoapFX. We've even been told by shop foremen and lead mechanics that they will lock up their SoapFX at night!

MEAN GREEN and PROSOAP are one in the same.... awesome product.
1. It does not melt-down like Go-Jo and many other auto part store or supermarket hand cleaners. The stuff stays stabile. You can get small empty jars at a pharmacy and make pocket sized containers for the car or van.
2. Your hands do not need to be dry..... so if first applicatione misssed anything, just grab a bit more, and continue.
3. do not get a dispensor... over the last 12 years, they have sent various dispensors... they work for a few months, then something goes wrong.... just use it out of the little tub.
4. I have not developed the "immunity" to prosoap that I have to other cleaners that for some weird reason, stop doign a good job after a few months buying that product.
ProSoap lasts a VERY long time.... 4-6 of the little tubs in my locksmith shop last a YEAR
And I use it 6-8 times a day
In my truck, I get the mechanic babywipes from another firm.
Oh,. ProSoap will call you after 6 months to see if you need more... they will not harrass you, however! They are VERY nice to deal with.

cleaner.:wtf: Of course I turned this to my favor and now have my own
dispencer and supply of this Zep product.
