Damn. Call me different, but I always liked Gerbers more... a quick flick and theyre ready to go... Not to mention they dont cost an arm and a leg if you put them in a cardboard box and say throw the box out...

It looks okay, but for the price I think a Leatherman Wave might be better. Or the new Skeletool.
I never knew that Stanley made quality multitools though. Is the pricing of that vendor accurate?

Stanley makes a pretty cool tri-pod light. I hate to admit it, but I am contemplating one. Great for work around the house because its small and you can really direct the light.

Don't forget to compare prices. I've seen those tripod lights on sale for $16 every now and then, and with normal prices from $21 to $30.

I think I saw it on the case that comes with it in the Proto catalog....

Has anyone tried the SOG? I love my Gerber 600 series, but I had a tough time deciding between it and the SOG with the geared pliers.

Santa brought me one of the Stanley tripod lights and it is great. Find myself grabbing it everytime I need a light somewhere.
