The only thing Id be concerned about is the fact that Italian steel isnt all that great. My kart, as well as most others is/are made in Italy, and the hardware that comes with them is awful... it strips really easily, so most guys wind up replacing it with USA made stuff.

But I wonder opposite of that since this line is used in so many racing teams especially the Ferrari F1 teams

Just noticed this thread on the Beta tools. They are about the best tools that I can buy here locally in this country.

So far I have a metric nut driver set, a torque wrench, and some other little things

Today I dropped by thier outlet here and picked up some 1/4" drive sockets that I was missing to fill my Hansen trays, its a shame that they don't make a 5/8" or 15mm socket in the 1/4" drive form. Gotta wait a few weeks and get the missing 3/8" drive sockets that I need to fill the Hansen trays and then the 1/2" drive ones

I'm betting it's still good stuff. I would venture to guess that it's gonna take a while for Stanley to mess things up. Rome wasn't built in a day.

What US made tool would BETA compare to?

I don't think they are better than the top 3 (Snap On, Mac and Matco) But I fell they might be equal to or if not better than Craftsman

Just my opinion

From Beta's website:

Beta guarantees that you will be 100% satisfied with the performance of its hand tools. If any Beta hand tool fails to perform up to your expectations after its first use, you can return the product, along with your proof of purchase, to any Beta dealer for a store credit to be used towards any other product of your choice.

Sounds good, but there's no lifetime guarantee.

No more Facom for Ferrari?

From what I have found its been 2 to 3 years since Facom was with Ferrari....Ferrari wanted to go with a Italian brand then rather a French brand
