I have that exact same box and have had it for about 20 years now. the bottom drawer is ball bearing but the others are not. this box has served well even with the amount of weight I have put in the drawers.
is it a good deal? that is up to you and what your needs are, but I can say that of it was in my area I would have already bought it

Great deal. I paid $300 for the same bottom box (KR555, if I remember right) locally, and it needed a new lock assembly and two new drawer slides. Still felt like I got a good deal. I'd definately snatch that up for $400 for both the chest and cab.

Well lets see you could spens $400.00 on a Harbor freight bottom roller cab or $400.00 on a Snap On quality cabinet seems like an easy choice tto me good thing its in Pa. and not Louisville or you wouldnt have to worry about it :D.

That top chest is suppose to have 7 small drawers on the far right with a door that swings over them; in the picture, I don't see them.

there is a narrow door that swings open. in the pix it is in the closed position.
these drawrs are great for punches and other things you have only a limited amount of

Actually, its 6 hrs from me. I was just wondering because I already have this box. Bought it in the late 80's. I was just thinking of upgrading and didnt know what to ask for mine. I thought if these were only worth $400 I would just keep it and get another. I paid $1500 for mine in 1988.
