Prices went up; customer service and accuracy in orders went to the crapper.
For a good laught, call their 800 number. The girl who answers the phone quickly says "warehouse". It sounds like she says "whorehouse"...LOL

A few things really jumped in price. I bought the three piece plier set from KD tools,http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/KD-82101.html . I bought them for around $45 around 2 months ago and now they are $93, ouch.

I bought a two-piece version of that at NAPA for $25.... pretty nice stuff for being Chinese made.

I've used them a few times, not bad, and still cheaper than the craftsman long needle nose pliers.

A couple weeks ago they completly lost my order and had no clue of what happened. The girl could find no trace of it in the system, I even had my order number and everything.

Here is another huge price difference:
Tooltopia KDT82107 hose grip plier set $49.59

It could be Gearwrench/KD raised their prices and Tooltopia hasn't changed their's yet. Either way $114 is crazy for these pliers. I have them and have used them a couple of times and they worked well and they are decent quality for Chinese but before I spent that much cash I would probably get the Harbor Freights or Mountain's and make do without the double X design.

I have ordered through both companies. No problems with Tool warehouse until last order when I had to deal with their customer service. No problems with tooltopia but I have not had to deal with their customer service.
