All this talk about tools.
How about the New line of cordless tools from IR. I am very interested in them but have not read anything on them. I am a little nervous on spending all that money and not having it perform well. I am looking at the 19.2 volt drill what do you guys think?

Not heard much about them... don't know any shops that use them either. they did get a good bit of attention in PTEN magazine...

I have the 18 volt drill from that series. It is awesome!

To me the IR batteries are too large and throw the tool's balance off. I feel their cordless impacts are too big and their cordless ratchets are too long with the battery installed. I do like the concept of one charger for a family of batteries though. I use this combo at work daily.http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/MAK-6933FDX2.html

It's good for light duty work. Whatever cordless tools you buy, try to handle them before buying if possible to see if you like the fit, feel, and balance.
