Does anyone out there have any knowledge regarding TSC's Masterhand toolboxes?

I'm going to ride out to the local TSC tomorrow, I have a 15% off coupon that expires on the 8th...

I have looked at them in the store. They are better than the Clarke stuff, at least I didn't bend a drawer while pushing on it.

I have the 26" top and bottom, my wife got them for my brithday last year and I really like them
the only thing I had to do was rearrange the drawers so that there was a 4 inch deep drawer at the top of the bottom box for my sockets
I think they are better than the comparable roller brearing craftsman boxes

How would the TSC boxes compare to Torin or the HF International boxes?

I noticed them the other day at TSC. Seemed to be OK quality. My thoughts after looking at them were that I could get about the same quality from HF for less money. Much better than the small Clarke box our TSC had. The small Clarke box made Craftsman look like Snap-on.

just bought the 52" cabinet sunday and am waiting for it to ship to the store, I got the same 15% coupon but there was also an old price on the shelf $669 vs $699, so it all came down to $569. better and cheaper than harbor freight all with a 5 year warranty

Dodge or Craze, how are the drawer slides on yours? On the 40" that I saw today at the store, the drawers were a little stiff... perhaps because it is an abused floor model? The store by me had a full 24" set of the and the 40" top chest. They would have to order the 52" set for me. I'm a little hesitant to drop $1100 without being able to really check it out. I do like the color, that dark green would work well with my old Sinclair Oil theme!

I havent picked my box up yet, the manager offered me $100 off the bent up floor model but it was in rough shape, it had drawers that rolled smooth, but had resistance that might keep you from slamming it shut with one quick push, hopefully I will soon find out how a brand new one feels.:bounce:

Often, the drawers will operate more smoothly with some weight in them.
When attempting to simulate this with my hand, I bent a Clarke box drawer at TSC.

wilbilt is right the drawers roll better with some wieght in them
it seems they get a little smoother with some use too, that or I have just gotten used to the way they feel

Great price, Today I am going down to Tractor Supply with the same coupon, hopefully they have the same old self price, I was going to get the 40 in., but at that price I might go for the 52 in. I have a few friends that have the 40 in and they have no complaints with their cabinet.
