I posted a link to it. Hand tools. Wrenches. Screwdrivers. Pliers. That kind of stuff. This is new for them, so I'm wondering if anyone has bought this stuff.

You posted a link to the whole line catalog.
They have sold pliers and screwdrivers for years.

I agree with the above post. While their basic hand tools are good. I would purchase "core" tools elsewhere. Better prices on equal quality tools can be gotten from other sources.

X 2 on this (and they're probably not made in the USA, but that's another topic)

I'll ask again. Does anyone actually own them? What do you think?

In the electrical world there is Klien--Greenlee--and Ideal.
Yes, I own some Greenlee pliers and have used MANY "big" Greenlee tools like hydraulic knockout punch sets, wire pulling motors (chuggers), job boxes, etc, etc. If you are a contractor buying "big" specific equipment, they're on the top of the heap.
As far as hand pliers and such, their job specific tools like crimpers, strippers, and such-they are the same (almost) in price and quality to Klien or Ideal. Each company has different variants, and proven performers, that one person may prefer over another.
On wrenches, sockets, ratchets- I have not personally used a wrench, socket or ratchet from either of the above 3 manufacturers. I'd bet for price and quality though, I'd buy that stuff from another manufacturer.
But if you can get a smoking good deal on them I doubt you would be sorry. They are far better than HF quality in everything, on somethings they are the SnapOn of the the electrical trade on other things the the Craftsman of the trade.

There are a few Asian manufacturing companies that are making these "core" tools and "Private Branding" them. That means they put other peoples names on them.
It is an easy way for a company to broaden it's product line with out any investment in a manufacturing facility.
The quality is as good as the customer company wants to pay for.
I would expect that an old line company that was proud of it’s reputation would buy and resell the good stuff.
