i'm looking for a set of disconnect tools for gm oil and trans lines, the ones with the wire e-clips. what do guy's have and recommend?

Lisle just came out with these. Cornwell and others have a different style 4 piece disconnect set. I usually use a 90 degree pick and walk the retainer out.

Chrysler have same thing with GM... but when i see the tech had one and it gave him hell time... even i did try figure out and it give me more diffcult than i just use small 90* pick and use magnet as close to it so it will not fly off...

All my crap so so old and worn out I didn't even know what the heck those were until I read the descriptions!

Me either.... except the wife's car. But it's GM certified, so I don't mess with it too much... just basic maintenance.

They are a huge time saver ( and clip saver!) once you figure out the "trick" to it.. Just a slight turn is all it takes to remove the tube from the fitting while leaving the clip in place.
