How could I buy it, the auction's over?

Click on "ask seller a question" and request private auction or ask what he will sell it for! I've done this with pretty good success in the past on ebay! By the way; the williams ratchets always are reminiscent of the early Snap-On ratchets handle shape; do you agree?

I did not check but I knew what ratchet you were refering to.:spit::moon:

Well let's see, everyone is buying the F80 ratchets. Alot of people bought the Craftsman 80th anniversary thin ratchet sets on clearance. It's an industrial finished ratchet. It's not a Snap on ratchet despite whatever family tree you use to justify your cause. Taxes were due last week. I can see why it didn't sell.:bounce:
Could this be the end of Williams tools auctions? I doubt it.

Snap on does make it, It is a F936 with slightly different cosmetic tweaks.

I concede that its internal ratchet mechanism is the same as a 936 series ratchet, just like the Danaher family ratchets share parts. However, if it was a Snap on ratchet, it probably wouldn't have gone unsold.
I also don't want to see Merkava placed on suicide watch because a Williams ratchet went unsold on Ebay.

Williams is a Snap-On owned subsidiary aren't they?

Yes, they were bought out by Snap-on and are and have been making Snap-on tools for many years now.

Uch, I wouldn't trust that seller, with his "snap-on" title lure, and all-caps description jumble.

If it was marked snap on it would have sold.

that auction.or the sellers auctions does not have a shipping price.e-mailed the seller twice about price for shipping and no response.I would never bid on something that does not have a shipping quote.

sorry to change the subject guys, but I've been a long time lurker here with no post.this are my first two post.Another seller you guys need to beware of is the seller that sells all those New Britain Ratchets.I bought one from him and I received a Husky looking overseas ratchet. It does not have the USA marking like what he has on his pictures.I will post a picture of the ratchet I received some time this week.Anyone else have experienced with that seller? e-mailed him and no response.

If you used paypal you can go through a arbitration process or you can file a complaint through ebay as well; whether any of these will resolve the issue is questionable. Paypal/Ebay may help out more since from what I can tell, his transaction with you was FRAUD! Good luck and try the tools that paypal/ebay provide; hopefully you can get resolution on the auction.

i have try not to file a complaint thru paypal as it will alarm the seller.I want to expose him where it will hurt him financially,so he can't sell fraud tools. Is there anyway I can contact the FTC and make a complaint about that.btw, the New Britain letters stamping looks like it was stamped after the ratchet was built.

If you're going to be high-jacking my thread, I want you to start your sentences with a capital letter and use the space bar after a period!

I had to take the SO truck down because hholmberg already hates me enough as it is without him associating me with a Snap-on truck which he also hates.

No I don't hate you or anyone else on the board, I apologise for my outburst. I tend to get a bit wound up over rather insignificant issues at times and that was clearly one of them.
Each of us are entitled to our own opinions and I need to do a better job of realizing that was your opinion which you are entitled to.
I also do not hate the Snap-on truck, or the tools within! For the most part Snappy tools are generally my weapon of choice too; it is the crap warranty service I have experienced from Snap-on that I do hate!
(BTW, YOU BETTER PUT YOUR SNAPPY PICTURE UP, YOU ARE APT TO GO INTO WITHDRAWL OR SOMETHING IF YOU DON'T!) :bounce:

EVEN THOUGH I AM A NEW SELLER , I AM NOT NEW TO EBAY. PAYPAL OFFERS A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE ON ALL ITEMS PURCHASED. SO BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
Translated:
Don't trust me, trust paypal!
Also, there is no mention of any shipping fees; i.e. the seller can spring a "oh yea, that'll be an extra $15 for shipping" BS.
Merkava, I'm all for sharing good deals with people, but this is too risky of an auction.
1. No shipping info
2. All CAPS description
3. Has "Snap-On" illegitimately in the title

Well in a Hanson auction he has Proto and Snap On in the title line.

And in a Proto Ratchet auction he has Snap On.
