Its a simple tool to help you align doors on vehicles. Say, you got a old car with worn out door hinge bushing/pins.. take this tool - one end goes on the door striker, and the other end goes in the door latch. Take a 3/4" socket on a breaker bar and hook it to the tool.. next.. pry that breaker bar upwards a few inches. It will bend the door shell, or hinge, so that the door will align better and shut nicer. I've used them before.. and they are a big help.

orrr...you stick a few 2x4's under the door (enough to get lower than the lip), than stick a long 2x4 on the sill, and pry up against the ones you stacked under the door. If it's too high, do the same, but pry up lightly, then drop it suddenly.

Done this before... had to help a former student with her car in a parking lot. Her door wouldn't close. I actually just lifted at the bottom of the door and that was all it took - no tools. I have done this on several car doors with good success. No tools necessary - yet!

Great for a quick fix, but the only way to really cure that ill is to replace the hinge pin & bushings.
