View Full Version : Difference between these 2 tool stands?

You guys might remember I asked putting my 12" drill press on a grinder pedestal.
I found these 4 legged stands at Sears.

One is more expensive and cost twice as much. Not sure what all is the difference though, the expensive one is heavier..

Here is picture of the cheaper one with a drill press on it.

I also own bench grinder and miter saw and either of this would be quite vesatile..

But, does anyone know which one to get?

I don't know why but there is a craftsman club discount on them about 23.5%, I can't find anything about them in the flyer.., does it show up for you?

Neither come with ply wood to put on top or bottom shelf but reviews say increases stability on both stands.

I wish they list the dimensions better..

I forgot I also have a bench table saw.. not sure the one Stuey listed will fit the table saw or not.. That one is $30 and it already comes with some MDF.. but the pictures look kind of small for the top.

for $69 you should look at geting the cheapest Cman bottom box that you can get and use that
