I have a KAL 2" crowfoot that I broke. It's made in the U.S.A., so I'm thinking it should be warrantied, but I can't find any contact info. I've found several KAL company's online, but none that have to do with hand tools.

Any clues?

My crows go to 1 & 1/2" and I admit to never using the largest. What on earth were you using a 2" crow for, and was it a 1/2" drive as mine are? :headscrat

1/2" drive, taking a trunnion pin out of a plane, big boom, metal flying. plane 1, crowfoot 0. :( The pins have about 1 1/2" dia thread, about 1.5" of thread long, two 1/4" dia pieces of nylon to lock it (they get replaced every time it's removed), require at least 300 ft lbs of torque, AND get COVERED with red loctite.:wtf: I called them, the number is actually 626-338-7300. They're doing a "lean-down" as the guy called it, and are shrinking the line. They don't carry them anymore, and won't give a refund on them. The guy was kind of short on the phone, poor customer service, IMHO.

Oh well, I bought 6 new Snap-On 2" crowfeet off of ebay for $90 shipped, kept one, and sold the rest at work for $30 each, so I got a Snap-On crowfoot, and $60 in my pocket.:bounce:

Nissan_Crawler, that really sucks that they wouldn't do anything for you. It's not really an obsolete tool, so they should have given you something. I would understand if it was some strange tool that they used to make 50 years ago or something. But a crow's foot, come on!!

I had my share of frustration today also. I took in a busted up screwdriver to NAPA on Monday for warranty service on it, and they said no problem and to come back on Wednesday since they had to order it. When I went in today (different guy) they said there was no defect so they couldn't warranty it. I left with my busted screwdriver. Who knows, maybe I'm just spoiled by Sears and the guy was right????
