I have one of those and it is badass... I cannot imagine soldering without one.

I have one of this too. I haven't use it for quite sometime and I remebered I had it when I saw this thread. I fired it up but the flame is not as strong as it used to be. It's almost new since its not been used much. I cleaned it thinking it was clogged but still the same problem. What could be causing this?

Never used a gas-powered solding iron. they any good?

I rather like my Antex mains-powered solding irons. Cheap, but very good quality.
