I wonder when Snap-On purchased the J.H. Williams company (the catalog is 1949); because I can see "visually" Williams influence on Snap-On or vice versa. Examples include the "wrench wraps" (page 31) in a "leatherette roll" with draw strings, they have the same colors and shapes and the double offset "super wrenches" (page 41) look like the bluepoint brand of that era. Interesting stuff; they don't make catalogs like this any more! :)
