As my screen name implies, I'm looking to buy a 1967 Ford Galaxie Convertible. Prefer a 390 V8 Automatic...would ideally like to find one in nice driver conditon. Would consider vehicles in lesser condition, but not basket cases. I would consider a model with a 289 if everything else about it was favorable. Auto is a must. Models with blue and red interiors are most desired. I'm looking to spend in the range of about 3-7 grand. I live in Atlanta, and would prefer to keep my search within a couple hundred mile radius.

Any leads anyone has would be appreciated. I am very familiar with Ebay, Craigslist, Traderonline, Hemmings, etc.

Thanks in advance for any help one can give. I currently own a '65 Comet Convertible in very nice driver condition. I would consider trading it for a Galaxie convertible, but I'm not actively trying to get rid of it.

Good luck with your search.

I have a friend with a 67 Fairlane, that he has been looking for quarter panels for some time. Seems to me EVERY year, Barrett Jackson rolls around (along with everything else going up), and everybody things every basket case they left rusting/rotting in a field, is worth gold.

When you find her, give us some pic's.
