Found a few goodies this weekend

I'm not a garage sale junkie, but just happened to "stumble" upon this one.

Found a nice Whitney-Jensen ** punch kit with extra dies -- these things are worth their weight in gold if you need to make a lot of small holes

AND

I almost passed by these wood handle MAC screw drivers. They were popular in the 60's and 70's. I still have a set and they are my go-to screw drivers because they just feel so darn good when your hands are greasy.

They are brand new -- never been used. I'm happy becasue I really like these "old school" screw drivers.

That punch comes in handy. Make a bracket to mount it to your tool bench or in a vice. Makes it real easy to punch a lot of holes.

Yes, I have a project where I need to make a lot of holes in many patch panels. This tool will definitely be used. I bought a small chicom vise and will mount it permanently on a work bench to hold the punch.

Who else offered those wooden handled screwdrivers? My grandfather's shop had those in the 70's or 80's, but they weren't branded by MAC, as far as I know. Great memories though.

I have 60's and 70's vintage wood handle screw drivers from Irwin, MAC, and MATCO. I believe that SNAP-On used to offer them as well

Snapon had wood handles? Interesting, I haven't seen any; of course I have never found any "octo grip" screwdrivers either!
