Granted their apparent condition was far worse when I bought them. They've been soaked in solvent and buffed since then. So, lets see who can guess it. And no, they weren't free.:)

My guess is .50 each.

Nah, not .50 each. $12 for all. I didn't think that was too bad. I wouldn't ever pay full price for them. I had no idea they were that expensive!:shocking:

Not too bad... but how 'bout a better picture? Turn off your flash and take the pic in a room with lots of ambient light...

That's pretty good considering they usually go for $9.95 each on eBay.

Nice snag. Can't complain about $1.33 each. I think $37 for one flex socket is absurd.

Chrome swivel sockets are expensive (heck any Snap-On sockets are expensive) but the IMPACT swivels in particular REALLY expensive! If you even see those cheap, snap them up; even if you don't need them, you can resell on ebay and finance future tool purchases!

I thought that too, but look at the prices. The impact actually lists a few dollars cheaper than the chrome. :headscrat
EDIT: Forgot to add that 2 of the sockets are a bit loose. Not unusable, but I would prefer they be tighter. I don't guess they would warranty the sockets for this reason?

Good call; I guess the moral of the story: buy any and all Snapon sockets at cheap prices and if you don't need them; sell them off and buy more tools!
