GearWrench Friends,
We've taken ratcheting wrenches to the next level with our JUMBO sizes up to 2" and 50MM. Now you'll get the speed and productivity GearWrench ratcheting wrenches provide - with large fasteners.
These will be available in October from Mobile Auto and Industrial Distributors.
We'll have more new products for you tomorrow.
Thanks,
Steve

Totally cool! Thanks for letting us know!
Is Gearwrench going to come out with double box offset ratcheting wrenches?

8#s for a single wrench. Wow! I wonder which specific size will be the most popular?

Yes - it's a lot of metal!
In the picture on the left, did you see the 1/4" ratcheting wrench next to the big 2" jumbo for scale?

Makes sense, if you want to compete with the likes of the traditional professional/industrial brands; you should have the sizes that people need!

Elroy really has reservations about a company that publishes errors in their literature. Look at the #9060 wrench listed as 1-5/16" :headscrat

Or is it just listed out of of sequence? Either way it instills confusion. :wtf:

I think it's meant to be 1-15/16".

They got the right part number; it's just that #9060 1-5/16 should've been on top of the list above #9062 1-3/8. :headscrat
And #9056 2 inch should've been #9064. :D

Maybe this will be enough of a reason to retire the monstrous 24" long Crescent wrench we use to set up our hydraulic presses.

Did anyone else giggle like a little girl when they saw the big wrench next to the little one?
...come on Merk, you know you did!

I'm guessing it somehow got out of order as the dimensions are closer to the 1 3/8" one than to the 1 7/8" one.

Yes, it looks like we listed it out of sequence. Sorry for the confusion. We'll get it fixed for the catalog.
Thanks,
Steve

I'm just thinking the part numbers should increase incrementally with the increase in sizes, but I'm not complain'n. :D

Okay, nobody has asked yet, what kinda torque will these take? And how many teeth are they?

If they're anything like the other gearwrenches, they'll take as much ass as you can put behind them.

Maybe 134 teeth? That's what the 1 - 1/2" sizes are. And yeah, wouldn't worry about torque. Unless you are the Hulk.

You can get them through Draper and also Halfords sell them. (under their own branding, with GearWrench stamped on them too) There's another place that sells their entire range, trying to remember their name.

These guys sell the Draper-branded ones. Great to deal with, real fast postage and everything. I've been using them for over a year and never once had a problem. They sell most stuff for ~60% of list too, i've yet to find anywhere that's cheaper overall.

Not always the cheapest, but the customer service is excellent.

Looked at them a couple times, but never found a big enough saving to stray from J.O.B. another place that's cheap and has a HUGE range is PVR direct, although i can't vouch for them as i've never ordered anything from them.
