Can anyone recommend one, I'm looking for the MICRO one, some call it a pencil type. My rotary tool died after a few months of use, I should have known not to by an HF one, I was thinking about buying a Foredom but saw an add for the micro die grinders. I figure theres less to go wrong with air ones and I now have a great compressor so I'm thinking I may be better of with an air one.

I need one for polishing in my gunsmithing biz, mostly feed ramps, don't need to remove a lot of metal so high torque is not needed. I mostly use Cratex bobs or felt bobs with blue magic polish.

Hmm.. I cant recommend a micro die grinder, but I do recommend air over electric. It sounds like you dont need a high speed one ? the smaller the grinder are.. seems like the faster they spin. Well, just check the rpms on the air ones.. some are 20,000, 30,000 rpms.

I was searching for "micro die grinders" and was only coming up with chinese stuff, I found the better ones are listed as "pencil grinders" IR makes them and so does Sioux, don't think I could go wrong with either.
