Does anyone get that feeling after being outbid on an item? Maybe it's just me. :D

I've seen a few smoking deals on Snap On lately.
Mostly, what I'm seeing though is less stuff for sale generally, at least in the areas that I look for.

If I could afford to bid $100 on every single tool I wanted, I wouldn't have started this thread because I'd be on top of the food chain. :D

You're going to see a lot more "buy it now" sales in the future. The fee structure favors it, and you can use it to help with the shipping policies. Now that they are beating you down for low shipping, a lot of people aren't willing to lose money with an auction. The lower the shipping, the higher up on the "best match" your item gets. They force things the direction they want by changing their fees and policies. They want to get a cut of your shipping costs, too, so they are pushing for "free shipping" included in the price of "buy it now" sales.
