Moose said peterbuilt not peterbilt.
Built is the "Past tense and past participle of build." So basically he is saying "need a new peter made".
Peterbilt is the name of an truck company. Or I should say a Brand of PACCAR. You might be more familier with the DAF marque.
chammyman
08-28-2008, 02:53 PM
they are DAF? So they are utter garbage then?
I hate daf's they are even worse than iveco. The only decent bits daf make are for fodens which use a mix and match of bits.

They have nothing to do with DAF mechanically except for the model 320 which uses a DAF cab. I may be slightly biased though....

just as well then as the mechnicals are rather poor. We got Daf's in then a prpoer unit would come in say a Scania and the difference is iummense, the daf is like a plank across a ditch compared to the scanias suspension bridge.

I was just thinking that this thread has had more twists and turns than your average end-of-season primetime cliffhanger! Toolchests to other chests to class eight trucks with a bit of suggested male enhancement thrown in for good measure...
And went downhill nearly as fast as the infamous stacked (http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19100) thread!

Almost full, but I do have room to buy more tools, about 4 small drawers, and one medium drawer, is all that is left.
I decided on the two bottoms because I got a better deal. and with my new shop going in, floor space is not an issue.
Speaking of...I spent about three hours in my new shop drinking beer and just looking at the twins.

I like to have two bottom boxes but when i use it everyday, i just need chest on top of bottom box so i dont have to bend down...
Other question is i am wonder why you dont want KRL1023 as you get KRL70XX as it is lost of drawers?? iit make me curious why you want height little below than krl1023?

I LOVE the colour of your boxes, very cool. I like that they're a bit unusual and outrageous. If i had the money i would've bought a big yellow 53" KRA that on was eBay about a week ago.
Every time i walk past my box at work i smile and think "that's right, i own that box and everything in it." good feeling.

Talk about thread hi-jacks!! Rarely has a better-built set of twins looked so good to so many - of course da' drawers are a thing of speculation, but the box is a thing of beauty.

Its my garage, but do side work too.
As I mentioned before it was a really great deal for the 7023 boxes and the working height is better with the SS Tops.
I do have the matts on, and they will be left on under the ss Tops, it deadens the sound while working on top.
...My Snap-On dealer said he is having another promo sale on tool boxes, but I'm too busy with my shop to get another box, any one else need a deal like this?
P.S. If you want pictures of the tools, Ill do it but that is a lot of drawers.
