Ingersol Rand are having a push on their cordless impact wrenches in the UK.
I have been looking at them and like the look of the W360.
Is this a model you guys have over there and if so, do you like it?
1/2 inch is our standard - well mine then.
I've always thought along the lines of one day getting myself a compressor and air wrench - is this a viable alternative?

Try looks at the snap on CT4850. I like having a cordless tool just incase of a emergency or if I need to use a impact tool where I don't have a compressor. Also here a video of the old Ir 123 vs the Snap on CT4850

Boy in my work had an 18V snap on 1/2 gun. Frankly it was awesome.
No air pipe hanging off it, balanced nicely and would do most jobs.
Its a viable alternative it will do wheel bolts etc as long as they are not crazy tight, but don't expect them to crack off crank pulleys.

My local tuning shop absolutely swears by the IR W360 gun, and they use it practically all day. It' one of the next tools I've been looking to add to my collection.

Thanks guys.
Seems I should get it, use and enjoy it and then, if one day I need a compressor as well then I'll just have more toys... er... tools.
