Ok really dumb question for Krusty or some of the other dealers.
Does any one know who was the manufacturer of the WFN prefix Matco flare wrenches?
I was using one today on a tractor and really liked the feel of it.
The newer ones have a RF prefix so I figure they are a different make. :(:(

all of the early wrenches were sourced from bonney.

WFC, WFCM prefix line wrenches look like Bonneys with the combination open V-notch end/six sided flare end.

Oh I know he's not current. I just figured he was the one to remember them.
It may well be a Bonney it has the solid feel they had. It also has the thicker more rounded beam. I love that in a wrench. They don't feel like a meat slicer in my hands.
I'll have to hunt around and see if I can find some of them at a estate sale or swap meet. You know super incredibly cheap.

That's a Bonney; the closest wrench you're gonna get to that is a modern Cornwell.

I thought it might be Bonney made when I was using it. First Matco I ever really used, fall in love with it, then find out it's a orphan.
Thanks Krusty I don't doubt you. It's just my style of writing. I was a nurse and they beat it in us to say "May be" or appears to be.
Merkava, so Cornwell is using that beam style still? Neat I'll have to add them to my check out list. My Snap-on felt like it was going to cut my hand and the Matco/Bonney was just comfortable.

Yes, they're still using the oval beam cross section; the open end and box end however, have gotten much more precise in their shape.
