I dunno I like Big Dawg a lot better then King Dick as a name.

Once I read the King Dick story; I understood the name, I don't think it has quite the same connotation in the UK; that is does here in the USA!

Proto Big Dawgs are, in my opinion, one of the best ratchet designs ever conceived. I've got a 3/8 model, and that thing will take abuse. If you search in the forums, I believe there is a teardown, including pictures of the guts of the ratchet, as well as some more information.
