I keep finding myself needing to be 'in between' voltage power settings, I have either too much, or not enough heat for certain applications.
I want to put a Miller 180 voltage controller in, that has infinite adjustments.
Can it be done?
What parts do I need (just the switch, switch + circuit board, etc)?
Cost?

Adjusting your wire speed, or your travel speed should get you in the sweet spot. Not to sure about the parts or if it can even be done. Hobart has a forum where you could get an answer for sure.

That works to an extent, but still leaves a lot to be desired. When you're in between sizes, it'll either blow out the material, or not get hot enough to fuse. That's the frustration I'm running into.
I've had this welder for a few years, and it's been a fantastic piece, I just want a little more opportunity to 'fine tune' my welding.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into the Hobart forum.
