*DEAL IS DEAD*

Amazon has the Leatherman Micra mini keychain multitool for $15, and a combo set with the Micra and Kick full-size multi-tool for $28. Free shipping on orders over $25, unless you have Prime.

This was in their gold box "deal of the day" feature, so it only a one-day sale. The Micra typically goes for $20, and the Kick goes for $24-$30 as reported by Froogle.

Micra (http://www.amazon.com/Leatherman-64010103K-Micra-Multitool/dp/B0007UQ1B0/)
Micra & Kick combo (http://www.amazon.com/Leatherman-830996-Kick-Multi-tool-Micra/dp/B001EWEXQ0/)

These would probably make for great winter holiday gifts.

The Micra is GREAT! It's been my key chain for nearly 10 years, and I'm on my 3rd one..... anytime I've lost one I've felt naked without it.

1st one: found it on a keychain I found in the gymnasium in high school, 1999, took the Micra and delivered the keys to lost+found.

2nd one: IDK what happened but I somehow lost the Micra but not my keys.... bought a new one at an Eastern Mountain Sports mall store in 2001.

3rd one: 2 years ago I was driving a truck full of tools (yeah... kind of ironic) down I-95, stopped for a can of Pepsi and cigarettes in Maryland, must have took my keys out of my pocket to fish for change, and walked out of the store with my keys still on the counter. Of course I never noticed until I stopped for diesel 100 miles south, since the truck keys weren't attached to my keychain, of course had I been driving my car, I wouldn't have gotten very far w/o my keys...... so now I'm on my 3rd Micra... and my 1st all new set of keys, breaking the proverbial same hammer-new head/handle I had going with my keys since 1993.

I like the idea of the Micra, but think that the Squirt S4 might be a bit more robust. I'm coming from using a Gerber Shortcut, and just waiting for a good price on the S4. $25 is a bit too steep for a tiny keychain.

I use my Kick nearly everyday at work. Love it, one of my favorite tools:beer:
