Lawn Mower Bag

My apologies, don't know where to post this. Lawn mowers are tools right? .....

Got an old riding lawn mower. Sears Craftsman model 917.270840. I cannot even find the model in the Sears web site. Really poor web site. Google found a few unrelated links on the model. I am looking for a side bag attachment or rear mount hard or soft bags. Found some Sears rear mount bags for $300. I cannot even verify that this Sears bag fits my mower. That is a lot of money to me. Do they have "after market" stuff that fit, for a lower price?

Call the parts dept at 1-800-366-7278. Once you dial the # you will get an automated type system, push the * (star) key 3 times and you will be shortcutted to a person. Give them the model # of your mower and tell them what you are looking for. They should be able to help.
