How many of you guys use your tools moslty (at least it seems) to repair other tools that youll probably use to repair still other tools? I have this problem of not being able to pass up a piece of old american made machinery and leaving it as is and just using it, I have to take it apart and try to make it work and look as new as I can.
My current projects are a Dayton, when they were made here, horizontal bandsaw, I bought it for $100, works fine as it was. It's now in the middle of being painted. My other project is a 12" Craftsman metal lathe, I've scrounged the parts that were missing and damaged, now I'm srtipping it down for cleaning and painting.
