Hey, found this today for .50 cents at the flea market this morning; I have never seen one of these before! Anyone know the vintage or have one?

I think it says "3/8 Reamer" on the handle; I haven't quite cleaned this thing up, yet...

Looks like an old version of the current KD reamer. Take it back and see if Sears will give you a new one. I needed to get my KD reamer warranteed and guess what the replacement said, TAIWAN s.o.b.'s

Ahh, this one? Looks close aside from the shape of the handle and it being a little smaller/shorter; I don't think Sears has these anymore...

Billymade,
After you get the handle cleaned up, can you post the series code? It looks like it's just to the right of "Reamer" on the handle (inside a circle).
Nice find BTW! I've not seen one like that. But I now have the catalogs on CD from 1920 - 1959. If it was made anytime in this period I should be able to find a reliable date range.
Let me know what you find on the handle.

Neat. That could be cleaned up pretty well if you wanted to. Wetsand paper and buffing polish works well for me.

After a little cleaning it looks like inside the circle is a "Z" as in "Zebra"...

Billymade,
Thanks for checking that code for me; Z is Mayhew.
I can place that hand reamer 1957 - 1969 for sure based on catalog entries, (maybe later, but don't have the catalogs to verify this).
The stamping on the handle to the left of the series code should read 1/8 - 3/8 REAMER.
If you want to sell or trade this tool, PM me.
