Today's Sears.com tool deal of the day are Craftsman mechanics' gloves for $7.99.

These gloves are available in red and black, and in sizes medium, large, and extra large.

Note that many stores do not carry these gloves anymore, so your order will most likely have to be shipped as opposed to in-store pickup. Shipping starts at ~$7.

10082 is a good one. My Sears is within 50 miles of that zip.

By the way... my Sears has a display cardboard "merchandizer" and they have "Mechanix" brand gloves there on promotion for $16.99.... which I think is a pretty good price, check your local sears... YMMV!

I don't know why you couldn't just say you lived in the New York area; you're not exactly giving away your identity with that information. :rolleyes2

EDIT: For those of you who are wondering what I'm up to, I'm trying to broaden Stuey's horizons by getting him out of the Lowes and Sears stores and into his local industrial supply stores.

That's his choice. If he wants to keep his identity and location to himself, we should ALL respect that!

B/c I don't live in the NYC area all the time. I go between Brooklyn and NJ. The Sears in Brooklyn is terrible, although the one in Staten Island is okay. That's why I prefer the NJ Sears.

Oh, I don't mind sharing info when needed, but when people are being pushy about it, I get annoyed. Especially when the pushy person is known to post others' personal info w/o permission.

And if I want industrial suppliers, I'd shop at McMaster, MSC, or Enco. I don't care for Fastenal, and I certainly won't try a mom and pop industrial shop that I'm unfamiliar with, if I can help it.
