Anyone have any hands on experience with these (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00941745000P?vName=Tools&cName=Hand+Tools%2C+General+Purpose&sName=Screwdrivers)? I've been eyeing them for a while, but can't decide whether or not I would end really using it. They're a decent price, but with 2 drawers already full of screwdrivers, I've got to make some decisions.

I've messed with these a little; they have a foam handle, kinda like those "grab on grips" they used to sell in 70s/80s for BMX/Motocross bikes. They are kinda like a ratcheting screwdriver without the "teeth"; I would go to a Sears store and try them out before buying. I don't know how durable the foam would be or if they would wear well; I'm assuming the tips are typical Craftsman low line, soft metal and won't stand up to hard use; of course they have a lifetime warranty.

They are a novelty.. No, they don't ratchet, you just put a little pressure on them with the squeeze of your grip and it will hold them in place... ease up a bit and it can roll freely.

Good gift for the brother in law who rarely uses tools.

To be blunt - a gimmick designed to part you from your money. Spend the funds on a real ratcheting screwdr... er, I mean a real quality ratcheting screwdriver/bit set, like a hard handled Snappy, or even a GearWrench set.
