I've searched the forums but can't seem to find the answer, so bear with me please if I've missed it.

I have a Snap On KR657 (similar to the lower cabinet in this eBay item

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330285193343&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&viewitem=

I'd like to reconfigure the drawers (is that even possible?) so that one of the intermediate depth drawers is on the top (for sockets and ratchets) and move the top 3 shallow drawers down. I saw where this was done to a Matco box. Can it be done on this one ?

If so, how are the drawers (ball or roller bearing, not friction) removed ?

Thanks

i don't think it can be done, but to remove the drawers there is a screw inside the drawer that is removed then lift the front of the drawer and pull out.

Thanks ! Yep, you're right, the sliding lock mechanism in the rear and the cutouts on the sides for the sliders are "drawer specific" so to speak. Oh well, another good idea gone bad. Perhaps it's time for another box ;-)
