I'll start...this is an anvil for forming sheet metal. Made out of a piece of I-beam I got from the church down the street from my parent's house when they were building an addition. The stand is made from some old tubular steel a friend of mine had on his farm.

I'll bit.
Long ago I posted a thread looking for an adjustable 3/8" drive spanner wrench, long story short they were expensive and had the wrong size studs.
Had a stamped wrench and some pins I pressed out of another random piece, with a little grinding and cutting later I had my own Mercruiser trim ram end cap remover/spanner (part# 91-821709).
Crappy pics, I know...

While not a tool strictly speaking we consider this to be an aid. It is the proverbial ugly stick and it does work.
