Snapon.com has listed a bunch of gift idea under $75 and this was one of them:

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/gift_item.asp?P65=yes&qt=1&qty=1&Item_id=77849&PartNo=AWSTAND&Price=15.53&ListPrice=15.53&FORMNAME=4&Desc=Storage+Stand%2C+Wrench+(for+L-+and+T-shaped+wrenches)&group_id=1&gift_name=GIFTS+UNDER+%2475&group_NAME=GIFTS+UNDER+%2475&store=snapon-store&giftSale=1&giftSaleName=GIFTS+UNDER+%2475

For $15 + free shipping (IIRC), it might be just the ticket...

that could be interesting.
But they really need to talk to their advertising people. Some examples of tools in place would have sold a lot more stands...

I have the "L" type wrenches... while those would be nice storage for T handles.. the L's all fit in that little plastic "holder" they ship them in and take up virtually no room. Where as that needs to be wall or bench top mounted and takes up a bit of real estate.

It might not be right for everyone... but it is a solution and for other, is at least food for thought.

Oh its a nice solution... I'm just saying I wish it didn't take up as much real estate :) Its actually one of the nicer racks I've seen and really makes grabbing the right allen easy.

Sears sells that same stand, http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00998697000P?vName=Tools&cName=Garage+%26+Tool+Storage&sName=Tool+Storage+Accessories

It sucks! Stay away from it. It give you slots for SAE and Metric, but if you try and put snap on T Handles in if from both sizes, they wont even fit! Im sure its good for regular allen wrenches, but if you want to store SAE and Metric t handles, buy two...

I use two of these exact stands every day at work. Kartracer is right, if you want to store metric and standard, buy two. The handles get cramped if you do not have the Eklind brand T-handles. They have a slimmer handle than any other brand that I have seen before and seem to fit, but it is still tight.

These racks are great if you like them nice and organized or just need them to be easily accessed. Probably the best stand I have used, as of yet.

Grainger carries them as well

Far superior idea... my post was for those folks looking for a ready-made solution. I really like your idea better. MUCH better.:beer:
