I was working at a Buick dealership in the early 1980's. These were in the trunk of a new car off of the transporter. They appear to be a Kent Moore tool. They are not listed in any Kent Moore catalog. I can not figure out what they would be used for. Appear to be sidecuts with an attachment. Any ideas?

Hmmm certainly some sort of OEM assembly tool. Looks like the pin/spike slides into a some recess and perhaps allows alignment of something with the pliers portion or perhaps to hold/release a piece into place during assembly. I'm going to guess some robot does that job now. ;)

Thats what I thought, but they do not fit any clamps that GM used. The pin on the center piece sticks out too far.
