Get the part number of your friend's 1/4 ratchet.

Last week there were two FCF936 ratchets on eBay. They are the flex version. I actually gave some consideration to buying them.

I bought this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=280284021578&ih=018&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=)on ebay about a week ago. It works well, but the seller didn't mention that it has engraved initials on the handle. I didn't think to ask, so I guess that I can't complain. I haven't decided what type of feedback I will leave for ezm4721. I guess that it isn't what the seller tells you about the item that counts, but what they leave out.

Dang, Junk, I hate to hear that. That is a very frustrating thing when they leave out important details like engraving or the like. I'm trying to get an idiot seller to ship my item now a week after I paid. I'm about to the point of turning him since he won't answer an e-mail.

I do like that wrench, though, for things like interior and trim work. It would be really handy for work under the dash.

Not to hijack, but could one take an F832 and put the internals from an F80 in it (converting from 32 teeth to 80 teeth)? I have a handful of snappy ratchets and would love to get the new 80 tooth ones, but if I could just swap the internals out of my ratchets then I'd be money ahead. I have a few 16 tooth and a few 32 tooth ratchets in 3/8" and 1/2" size.

Snap On probably have made it so you cannot do this, but thought I would ask! I'm new the the snappy tools, slowly getting away from the craftsmen ratchets :)

No because to begin with the ratchet bodies are different sizes between the two - the 80 tooth gear requires a bigger head.

Head size has nothing to do with it.

while we're on the subject. i was bored one day last week and decided to lube all 45 ( i'm no where near 'hound status) of my ratchets. i was surprised tp find that my old f720 had been rebuilt with 30 tooth guts!
